Welcome to Waverley, the leading independent Prep School in Wokingham, Berkshire

Our academic results are excellent, but we believe education is about much more than results. We want our pupils to leave Waverley at eleven as confident, curious and compassionate young people, ready to embrace their next adventure. Our 2026 Year 6 results, including 95% achieving the combined Expected Standard or Greater Depth in Reading, Writing and Maths, are a wonderful reflection of the hard work of our pupils and teachers.

We are immensely proud of the breadth of senior schools our pupils progress to, with 93% of our 2026 Year 6 leavers securing their first-choice senior school and 47% receiving at least one scholarship offer across academics, sport, music and the performing arts.

But perhaps the thing I am most proud of is the Waverley family. We are a close-knit community where children of all ages know and support one another, and where parents and staff work together to give every child the very best start in life.
