A Wonderful Evening at Waverley's First WaveFest

Last Friday, we held our very first WaveFest event and what a fantastic evening it was!

Our Waverley families came together to enjoy a brilliant community event, with a wonderful atmosphere throughout the evening. Entertainment was provided by the school choir, band 'Last Orders' and our resident DJ Mr Kear, who kept everyone dancing with a great selection of music.

There was plenty to enjoy away from the stage too. Popular favourites such as the bottle tombola and jam jar tombola returned, whilst the 'Soak the Teacher' stall proved to be a huge hit with several members of staff, including Mr Shore, were more than happy to cool off in the summer sunshine!

A huge thank you goes to everyone who came along and supported the event. Special thanks also to the class representatives and families who generously gave up their time to help set up before the event and tidy everything away afterwards. Their support helped make the evening such a success.

WaveFest was a wonderful celebration of the Waverley community and everyone is already looking forward to next year's event!
